Bombay Howrah Dining Car

When we say that we scour the length and breadth of India to bring you an authentic, specially curated food experience, we really mean it.

For our next Bhojana Collaboration, we teamed up with the talented home chef duo Aniruddha and Priya from the eclectic Bombay Howrah Dining Car.

With the Podi & Poriyal X Bombay Howrah Dining Car collaboration, we brought together authentic recipes from not just one but three different regions of India. A Beautiful curation of Maharashtrian, Bengali and South Indian dishes, all in one meal.

Guests and patrons were treated to never-thought-of-before combinations like the South Indian Kambu dosai with the Bengali Echorer Dalna or the Marathi Dudhi Kaju with the Bengali Chorchori. Needless to say, this unique coming together of cross-cultural cuisines turned out to be a culinary experience of a lifetime. Coupled with our trademark drinks and warm hospitality this Bhojana Collab was one for the books.

Because after all, no matter where you come from, grandma's cooking never fails to impress.

Through Podi & Poriyal and the Bhojana Collaboration with Bombay Howrah Dining Car (BHDC), we donated $5,000 from our net proceeds to Daughters of Tomorrow, a Singapore-based charity that supports women from low-income families with employment and a better future.
We thank all our patrons, staff and the talented duo, Priya and Aniruddha of the BHDC for making this possible.

Here's to more culinary magic, hope, happiness and discovering more gems from kitchens across the country.
